Our History

GenReal was set up in early 2009 to not only improve service delivery standards in established business lines but also offer services which had so far been lacking in Indian real estate.

Since then GenReal has executed landmark assignments at multiple locations across India

2009

• Founded on 23rd February 2009
• Executed the largest corporate head quarter transaction of the year in Delhi
• Successfully completed leasing of Ocus Technopolis, prime commercial office building in Gurgaon

2010

• Mandated by Shapoorji Pallonji for marketing of SP Info City, Manesar
• Undertook office leasing assignments in Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Pune and Chennai
• Successfully completed leasing of ETM Towers, prime commercial office building in Gurgaon

2011

• Closed private equity, funding and land transactions aggregating to over US$ 150 mn
• Completed the first, so far only, sale and lease back of a stand-alone multiplex asset to an institutional investor.
• Over 2 million square feet of office and retail projects under sole and exclusive marketing mandate
• Successfully completed leasing of over 100,000 sft in Advant Navis Business Park, a prime IT/ ITES office tower on Expressway, Noida

2012

• Advising in planning, designing and leasing of ~ 2 mn sft of retail mall projects across India
• Running investment advisory mandates of over US$ 300 mn at multiple locations in India
• Advised on acquisition of a township in Delhi NCR for an area of over 110 acres. The only township acquisition concluded by any professional services firm in India
• Concluded the largest Built-to-suit transaction in Chennai totaling to over 300,000 sft
• Mandated on a sole and exclusive basis to dispose a prime, stand-alone retail asset in Delhi NCT
